When you arrive, we will book you the "Free ride on the Hörner cable cars" (Hörnerbahn in Bolsterlang and Weltcupexpress in Ofterschwang) on your guest card. During your stay in the chalet village, you can use the cable cars once a day free of charge.
The mountain stations of the two cable cars are an ideal starting point for family hikes (even with a buggy for children), visits to huts, high-altitude panoramic hikes or challenging day tours. Always with a magnificent view of the Illertal valley, the main ridge of the Allgäu Alps and all-round views as far as the Tyrolean Alps.
No long waits at the cable car ticket office. Your ticket is loaded at check-in in the chalet village and you can go through the turnstile of the cable car without having to wait.
Our guests swim free of charge every day in the outdoor/natural pool opposite. (expected to be valid from mid-May)
From check-in, our guests also receive free daily access to the natural pool opposite. It offers water fun for all those who would like to swim a few laps in the morning or simply want to cool off after a nice hike. A large sunbathing lawn with plenty of shade and a wide range of facilities await you and best of all: the pool is just a stone's throw away from the chalet village.
The outdoor pool offers a fantastic mountain view, a children's paddling area, an adventure playground, a water ropeway, 5-metre diving tower, 50-metre pool, family slide, large sunbathing lawn, beach volleyball, café / bistro with sun terrace.

This is possible in our Alpsee-Grünten region! Simply leave your car parked and use the free bus ticket.
Sounds good? It is good! And it's child's play! Simply get on the bus, show your "Allgäu-Walser-Card" guest card and enjoy a relaxed ride to your destination. All chalet guests receive their guest card at check-in. Without traffic jams and searching for a parking space, you can take the bus to go hiking in the Allgäu mountains or shopping in town. Or both! The Ringbus line 11 connects the towns of Sonthofen, Immenstadt, Rettenberg, Blaichach-Gunzesried and Burgberg in a ring service and takes you to the most beautiful excursion destinations in the region. No matter which bus line you choose - our chalet guests can use all bus lines in the region free of charge.
I'm in the Alpzitt because I can identify well with dr' Alpzitt, I like being a host and it's easy to combine with my family life. My favorite place in the Alpzitt is the hot tub at Chalet Apfelbaum. My favorite meals are wraps, spinach dumplings with mushroom cream and a mixed salad plate with fried chicken. In my free time, I like to be out in nature and on lonely peaks.
