Alex Schareina hands over to Marcel Siegers
After more than five years full of passion, creativity and countless moments of culinary happiness, our head chef Alex Schareina is taking a new direction.
The Slow Food registered chef has made Genusswerk what it is today with his talent, dedication and thinking outside the box - without ever losing his feet on the ground: a small culinary jewel in the middle of the Allgäu. Together with his team, he has developed new moments of pleasure day after day that remain unforgettable for our guests.
Now Alex is opening a new chapter. He will become kitchen director in a top Allgäu hotel. We would like to thank him from the bottom of our hearts for the last five unforgettable years and wish him all the best for the future.
Marcel Siegers, a trained master chef and previously head chef at the Michelin-starred restaurant KAI3 at the Hotel Budersand on Sylt, is taking over his position. Young, committed, structured and full of ideas, Marcel will leave his mark on Genusswerk. Together with our team, he will continue to delight our guests with first-class cuisine and special taste experiences.
